Dr. Heiner Lang, the member of the Board of Management at Bosch Rexroth AG responsible for engineering and the factory automation segment, will leave the Bosch Group at his own request on December 31, 2020, to become CEO at WAGO. His successor will be announced at a later date. “We would like to take the opportunity to thank Mr. Lang for his tremendous dedication and exceptional work. At Bosch Rexroth, he has played a significant role in advancing our innovation agenda and our vision of the Factory of the Future in recent years. We wish him all the best for the future,” said Rolf Najork, Member of the Board of Management of Robert Bosch GmbH and Chairman of the Executive Board of Bosch Rexroth, in honor of his achievements. Lang has been a member of the Board of Management of Bosch Rexroth AG since August 1, 2019. In addition to his functional responsibility for engineering, he is also in charge of the three Bosch Rexroth business units which constitute the Factory Automation division (Automation and Electrification Solutions, Assembly Technology, Linear Motion Technology). He joined Bosch Rexroth AG in January 2017 as the Head of Technology for the Industrial Applications Business Unit. On July 1, 2017, he became President of the Automation and Electrification Solutions Business Unit. This business unit boasts a wide range of drive and control technologies for factory automation and provides Industry 4.0 solutions for the Factory of the Future. |
