Dr. Bertram Hoffmann (55), the member of the board of management at Bosch Rexroth AG who oversees manufacturing, will leave the Bosch Group at his own request on March 31, 2019. His successor will be announced at a later date. “We would like to thank Mr. Hoffmann for his tremendous dedication and exceptional work,” Rolf Najork, member of the board of management of Robert Bosch GmbH and chairman of Bosch Rexroth’s board of management, said acknowledging his departing board colleague. “Over the past few years, he played a key role in the successful restructuring of the Mobile Applications division. We wish him all the best in the future.” Hoffmann joined the board of management of Bosch Rexroth AG on April 1, 2012. In addition to his functional responsibility for manufacturing, quality management, occupational safety and environmental protection, he was initially responsible for the Renewable Energies division, which was sold in November 2015 under his leadership. During that same year, he assumed additional responsibility for Mobile Applications, a division that comprises the Business Units Compact Hydraulics, Mobile Hydraulics as well as Mobile Components and Accessories. Hoffmann joined Robert Bosch GmbH as a trainee with a focus on manufacturing in October 1996. He subsequently worked in the areas of quality assurance, production and technical plant management in Spain, Germany, Japan and the Czech Republic. In 2007, he assumed a management position at ZF Lenksysteme GmbH in Schwäbisch Gmünd. |
