Brake pressure profile for azimuth and rotor brakes25.11.2018 10.33
The operation of wind turbines should be as gentle as possible for all mechanical components. This increases system availability and avoids service calls. This topic is becoming increasingly important due to the growing size of wind turbines and thus also the length and weight of the rotor blades. This also includes increasingly specific requirements for the ramp-up of the brake pressures for azimuth and rotor brakes. A detailed required behaviour over time is defined in the technical specification by the system manufacturer. In close cooperation with the brake supplier, the hydraulic manufacturer then ensures the reliable implementation and proof of compliance with the requirements. HAWE Hydraulik has been offering approved brake modules of type NBMD in various configurations and equipment for years. Optional monitoring also facilitates predictive maintenance. |
