Dr. Marc Wucherer (47) will become a member Board of the Bosch Rexroth drive and control supplier. Dr. Marc Wucherer assumes responsibility for global sales. The company is continuing to implement the realignment initiated by the CEO Rolf Najork that began in 2016. After completing his studies of general electrical engineering at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Wucherer joined Siemens AG in 1996 as a technical sales engineer. There, he subsequently held various specialist and management positions in development, production and most importantly in sales in Germany and China. In addition, he studied business administration at the University of Hagen, where he completed his doctorate at the faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Chemnitz. Most recently, he was deployed for Siemens AG as the industrial president of Northeast Asia in China, and then as a managing director of industrial applications in the large-scale drives and motors division in Nuremberg. Subsequently, he moved to his current position as Managing Director of wucherer consulting-technology.innovation.strategy. "I am very pleased that we were able to convince Mr. Wucherer to come to Bosch Rexroth," said Rolf Najork, Chairman of the Board at Bosch Rexroth. "With his expertise in the field of industrial automation and drive technology, he is the ideal candidate to drive our initiatives in the area of industry 4.0." With his appointment as Chairman of the Board at the beginning of 2016, Rolf Najork launched a comprehensive realignment at Bosch Rexroth, which, in addition to a new corporate culture and strategy, also includes an organizational realignment. The aim of the changes is to make the company more customer-oriented, faster and more flexible. "We are primarily focusing on two aspects," says Najork. "Strengthening excellence in all areas of our company, from development and production to sales. In addition, we will significantly strengthen our innovative capacity and thus further accelerate the successful consolidation process." |
