Bosch Rexroth continues to expand its mechatronics training system for Industry 4.020.02.2017 9.00
Industry 4.0 that you can touch and feel: the mMS 4.0 training system from Bosch Rexroth is used in numerous vocational and higher education institutions as well as in training departments from companies. For mechatronics training or further education, the training system, which is based on standard components and can be modularly expanded, conveys pioneering Industry 4.0 technologies in an intuitive and practical manner. And now, Rexroth is expanding the range of applications of the "mini-factory" once again: as well as offering integration of the collaborative APAS robots from Bosch, the training system can now be connected with the PPM (Production Performance Manager) software. Both expansions will be shown by the Drive & Control Academy of Bosch Rexroth for the first time at the didacta education trade fair (Hall 6, Stand B60), which will take place from February 14 in Stuttgart. As with all training systems from Rexroth, the mMS 4.0 is also based on industrial standard components from the drive and control specialist's various product ranges. Thanks to its modularity, new stations can be continuously added. Through the integration of collaborative APAS robots, Rexroth shows how flexibly the application possibilities of the mMS 4.0 can be adapted. APAS (Automatic Production Assistant) concerns mobile automation devices for use in networked production of the future. In particular, in terms of Industry 4.0, APAS puts the focus on people and shows how human-robot collaboration can be designed to be flexible and safe. The second innovation or expansion of the training system also targets the topic of networking: through connection to the Production Performance Manager (PPM) software, the system allows for comprehensive monitoring in the future, which enables worldwide access to the machine data of the system. These are optimal prerequisites for exercises and training in the field of horizontal and vertical connection. Innovations celebrate their premiere at didacta Both expansions of the mMS 4.0 training system can be seen live for the first time at the didacta education trade fair. In addition, another novelty awaits visitors in Hall 6, Stand B60: all trade fair exhibits will be completely connected together, thus enabling comprehensive access to all machine data – implemented via the higher-level communication platform ActiveCockpit. This year, didacta will take place from February 14 to 18 in Stuttgart. |
