A viable concept: Bosch Rexroth presents new heavy-duty connectors - also suitable for dynamic loads

Bosch Rexroth extends the modular system of its Basic Mechanic Elements. Thanks to the new heavy-duty connector 180x180 dynamic load, machine frames made from aluminum strut profiles can be used even more flexibly.

When combined with strut profiles and the new heavy-duty connectors, high static and dynamic loads can now be absorbed safely. Users have more flexibility in setting up their machine frames and can increase the deployable radius. To achieve its usual quality requirements, Rexroth has recently put great emphasis on the handling of dynamic loads and successfully subjected the new heavy-duty connectors to a test procedure by the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. 

The use of the new heavy load connectors is as simple as it is versatile: a connector can be applied at any position, so processing of the strut profiles is not necessary. Heavy-duty connectors are available for 90x90, 90x180 and 90x360 focus profiles, and the necessary fastening set is available as an accessory. During constructive design, users are supported by a calculation program which is already integrated into the Rexroth MTpro planning software. MTpro is also suitable for the planning and design of the entire assembly technology.

New color concept – diverse setup possibilities

The new heavy-duty connectors fit seamlessly into the comprehensive Basic Mechanic Elements program and are an additional module for the implementation of needs-based machine frame solutions. Users are supported during implementation by an expansion of the plastic cover caps and cover profile program: black cover caps and cover profiles are characterized by their ESD conductivity and are predestined for applications in the field of electronics. However, the new signal gray color variants allow for a restrained overall appearance with a focus on customer-specific design elements.
